Coronavirus (COVID -19)

Calvary Church,

Because we care about the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of our church and community, we will be suspending regular church services until further notice and be meeting in small groups instead. On Sunday, April 5th, at 2 PM we will be meeting in our cars, in the church parking lot for “Drive-In Church”.

This is in compliance with the requirements of the provincial state of emergency.

Christian Development

Christian Development lessons are available for self-study; they can be picked up at the church building when it is open (or contact us and we can arrange to have them delivered), or DOWNLOAD HERE. Because fellowship is an essential part of our Christian life, we encourage you to be connected with a friend or another member of the church family, and discuss the lesson with them (via phone, internet, or in-person).

Since worshiping, learning the Bible, and praying together is a critical and essential part of our lives as Christians, we will meeting in Small Groups to facilitate this need. This is a Biblical way of doing “church”; these small groups will be held in various locations around Woodstock and Carleton County. We will be sharing locations and times for these Small Group meetings; contact us for more information.

We are encouraging you to make the best decision possible for your family. Every family circumstance is different; if you do not feel comfortable leaving your home to attend a small group, we encourage you to lead your family as a group in worship, learning the Bible, and prayer.

With the physical church building being open on an limited basis, you can conveniently continue to support the ministries of Calvary Church through the secure PayPal online giving portal. If you want to make a donation directly, in-person or at the church, just contact us and we will arrange/inform of a time to accommodate that for you.

Please contact us if you have any other questions or prayer requests. If you leave a phone number or email, we will get back to to you.

(Philippians 4:6-7) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
